REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Bond University may collect personal information about you, including:

The information on this form;
Information provided by your nominated next of kin in relation to this application, any other information collected by Bond University during your enrolment; and
Information on other forms or documents requested by, and provided by you or other educational institutions to Bond University.

Bond University collects this information for the purposes of:

Assessing your application;
Providing services to you and for general university purposes;
In the case of visa details, to fulfil Australian Immigration Laws; and
Facilitating Bond University's internal business operations including the fulfilment of any legal requirements.

Bond University may disclose personal information about you to:

As part of the application process, the University will share your details with third party service providers who assist the University in the application process. By submitting this application, you consent to the University sharing your information with those third party service providers;
A purchaser of the assets and operations of Bond University's business, providing those assets and operations are purchased as a going concern;
Its related entities;
In the case of untrue or misleading information, Universities Australia or any Universities Australia member institution;
In the case of an emergency involving you, your next of kin; and
Your agent, whose details appear on the front of this forms, and/or your next of kin for the purposed of processing your application.

For Australian High School Leavers applying to Bond University, you consent to Bond University advising your secondary school (the school) that I have applied for a place at the University. If your application is successful, the University can advise the school that your application was successful and the name of the program that you have enrolled in.

If the personal information you provide to Bond University is incomplete and/or inaccurate, the University may be unable to process this application and/or be unable to provide you with the services you are seeking.

You may access the personal information Bond University holds about you in accordance with the University's Privacy Policy.

When you use the Bond University Online Application Service:

You agree to be bound by the terms and conditions contained on this page, and consent to the use of your personal information in the ways described by these terms and conditions and in Bond University’s Privacy Policy and any relevant privacy laws.
You agree that:
1. You will only use our system for the purpose of applying for admission to the University. This includes not doing anything to interfere with the functioning of our system or other applications within the system.
2. All information you supply will be complete, accurate and truthful.
3. Any essay questions or other written statements required from you as part of any application process will be completed by you alone.
4. You are solely responsible for the completeness, accuracy and truthfulness of all information that you give to the University (or its educational partner/representative).
5. You will notify the University (or its educational partner/representative) immediately when any information you give us ceases to be complete, accurate and truthful.
6. The University may not be able to process your application and/or enrolment if you do not supply information or pay any required fees that we ask of you.
7. The University will communicate with you via the email supplied at time of application.
8. You will abide by the Bond University Regulations, Policies and Procedures, and to ensure payment of all fees and other liabilities for the program you apply to. You understand that you are solely responsible for paying any applicable fees or other liabilities involved in applying to or undertaking the program you choose.
9. You will notify the University of any change to your personal details (including address and phone contact details) and acknowledge that a failure to do so will not be an acceptable reason for failing to respond to any correspondence from the University as required.
You authorise Bond University to verify your qualification/s, work experience and any other information about you with your nominated educational agent/partner, guardian, education institutions, organisations, and/or authorities directly or through a Bond University approved third party verification service.
You consent to Bond University checking your Australian visa status and continuing to make regular checks of your visa status, study and work entitlements on the Visa Entitlement Verification Online (VEVO)) service maintained by the relevant Australian government agency.
You acknowledge that Bond University:
1. Cannot promise that that the web site used to submit your application will operate error-free, or that the web site and its server are free of computer viruses or other harmful mechanisms.
2. Accepts no responsibility for the security or integrity of any information sent to Bond University by electronic means.
You acknowledge that your use of this system constitutes consent to your activity on the system being monitored and logged.

When you access any part of the Bond University Online Application Service, you may not attempt to:

bypass or subvert any of the security measures employed in the site
carry out any form of reconnaissance or profiling of this site or its users by any means
cause any disruption to the availability of this site, intentionally or otherwise
upload any file or program of any description that may compromise the security of the site and its users
use this site for any purpose other than that for which it is intended
add, modify or delete any data without specific authorisation
log in using another person's login credentials or impersonate another System user by any other means.
take any steps to reverse engineer, decompile, translate, disassemble or discover the source code of all or part of the software behind the system.

Withdrawal of access

If you breach any of these terms and conditions, Bond University reserves the right to withdraw your user account at any time and to initiate an immediate investigation. The outcomes of the investigation may warrant the University commencing action against you, either disciplinary or legal or both, and against all individuals who attempt to compromise the security of this site.
